Thanks for sharing Steve! Badass results for sure. Im gonna share with you guys what it made with 2psi less as well. it started to stop making power after 33 uptop.
Also on mild wgdc there was a pretty severe boost taper, so add 50whp for the 3 port.
The car beat a modded c5 z06 already and a 10 second Porsche that traps 129mph.
heres the Porsche he raced that he beat by 1/2 - 1 car solid.

this car should be interesting at the shootout. i think its gonna hook great and mph great.

heres the graph i wanted to share before i finished the tune off.

the car was falling on its face at higher rpm due to the stock cams.. its clear as day in this graph. after we cranked the boost up the car semi gained its power back, but still no where near its true capabilities with a proper set of cams under the hood.
dont expect the cam swap anytime soon, Steve is going to enjoy his car as is. if you guys want to see a kelford 272 vs gsc s3 shootout i have one of Scott's car
and also doing one on my car very soon!

any chance of throwing a adjustable cam gear on the exhaust cam?
on my evo8, stock cams @ -4/-4 didnt give up much down low, but just carried the power out another 800 rpm!
since he has the mivec, he will get back most of what would be lost down low.
if he is doing the mechanical work, it should be ~60-75 minutes to swap the gear out. Thats from hood up - hood down!
I can send him a spare adjustable gear if he wants to just to test!

Its using the stock cam gears right now with the stock kevlar 9 belt then i believe the intake/exhaust are both a half tooth retard.
Im not exactly sure when he wants to do the gsc s3 install, but ill probably install the cams for him and maybe at that time we can test things.

Hi Aby, that's not something he can do really. I did all the mechanical work on his evo over the winter and partial spring. i basically built the car from ground up.

and the only people that touch my car are you and me
trans should be ok i think hopefully. the torque isnt all that high, the timing isnt all that high downlow.. the car is conservative.
this car went 127mph. whats even more impressive is we got almost 300MPG on e85 on the way back i will share pics of the gas gauges progress.. i didn't even know that kind of MPG was even possible on e85. i will also show the slips and video footage also. i will share tomorrow.

impressed because his crappy 5 spd 9 gear box made him go into 5th gear every time just to pass..
plus the last pass he did went 11.22 @ 121 missing 5th gear like 4 times.. so its a 10 second car with a perfect pass. we will make it run a 10 at a closer local track to us on my slicks. he was on $70 tires.
i am gonna get the videos together and pictures now of the slip and the gas gauge..
id like to know how he got 300MPG on e85 though when my personal car was only getting 180-200MPG..
is it the stock cams doing it or what? that is just ridiculous MPG for e85.
car is cruising with o2 sensor feedback, its not open loop either.. so im baffled.
plus we drove 7-8 hrs to the event raced, then drove back 100% true street car.. nothing broke, and everything went great. he even lasted till 4th in ESA.
I got to meet alot of very cool evom guys that i never met before.. i had a complete blast there.. by far the best event ive ever attended to date automobile wise.. this years shootout was the best one yet.
