Need a map

Ok so in february sometime ill be taking my Evo 8 to my guy to install the rest of my mods cuz i dont have the space or tools to do it myself at my apartment. My mods are listed in my sig. I dont know if im in the rite section for this but here it is. My installer lives about 2 hours from me and i was gonna install everything besides the injectors and dog it back. But im thnkin id like to see if i could get a map that will run well with my injctors installed for the drive back instead. And then after i get back im going to have my tuner come up and do a street tune with me. Seeing is how my current tune is just with the stock injectors and most of the boltons. The new mods installed are gonna be 1450 injects, fp bb 84mm red, kelfords, ported exh mani, and other small things ncluding clutch. So if anyone has a map they can email me or can point me in the rite direction thatd be great. Thanks for your time.

i would stick with one tuner the whole time... Talk to Jay at boosted or TScomp or any number of others on here then they should be able to send you a map to get you home, then you can start doing some pulls and having fun. Let us know what you make. Sounds like a good setup.

Like he said up there, you need to find 1 tuner and stick with him. If you are having a tuner come up and give you a road tune, get with him now and let him know the mods that you are installing. You are going to need something to get those cams and injectors to idle and run together.

I've heard nothing good things of tom from www.tscomptuned.net and i'm sure if you email him and let him know your plans, he'll get you sorted out.

i dont think ur understanding what im doing. I am sticking with 1 tuner. The tuner that im paying to come up and road tune my car. I know i need a map to run the injects and cams together but i
Geuss i thought some one on here mite have one i could use with the same cams and injects just so i can drive my car home with the 1450s in it and then road tune it. Rather than gimping it home with stock injectors And then putting the 1450s in it with my tuner here so we can road tune it. But ill see if maybe he can send me a map that he had from someone else with a similar setup. I just figured i could try and find someone on here that would be nice and hook me up with a flash. Cuz i dont know if my tuner or any Other will charger for a temporary map.

I don't think you understand. If you get a map from someone on here then use a second tuner, that's two tuners. Give your tuner a call and see what he recommends.

Just set the latency and scaling for the 1450 in your current map and your pretty good to get back home without pushing it: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...upermerge.html
Don't get into boost as much as possible without being tuned with your new setup.

I imagine the guy whos going to street tune it should be able to give you some sort of base map for those... Should be easy for him. If he wants to charge you a bunch extra for that find a different tuner.

No i get it. Either way a map is a map. But i see what ur saying. I guess tho 4wstuning used to be my tuner but hes done tunjng now so i have to use a different tuner anyways. But again i see what ur saying. Ill hit up my new tuner and see what hes got. This thread can be closed now. I geuss getting a temporary map from anothe member with a similar setup is harder than i thought lol. I will just contact my very busy tuner and get one from him.
