Blevins tuned Evo 8 stock turbo 383/362 PUMP GAS 23 psii

Just finished up my tune with Adam. I got to a point where I needed a break from e85. The constant pouring from 5 gallon containers wore on me and the cold start this winter broke the camels back. I will still likely run e85 year round with the exception of winter. That being said Adam and I did this tune simply to give me access to 93 pump once again.

At first I just wanted some more mpg like most of us on corn fuel however this car ended up posting some pretty good numbers for pump gas! The final VD is attached. This car has already put down 429whp dynojet vd on e85 and been backed up with a 120.97 trap in the 1/4 with some obviously granny shifting lol.

383/362 on 23 psi at that! Just so the numbers don't apprear skewed in any way, tires are 235/40/18 which is 25.4 , I weigh 215 and added 15 for random crap I had in the car, also the car has a built shep 5 speed so I used the gsr to get the final drive correct. I'm really anxious to get this thing out at the track and try to sneak a 11.9 pass out in pump

Power mods :
HKS 280 cams
Perrin intake
No name down pipe and exhaust
Magnaflow muffler
Buschur street FMIC
Buschur LICP
MAPerformance o2 dump
FIC 1450's
Walbro pump
23 psi tapering to 21-22 @7k

Full list of mods can be seen in my signature. The car is still on the 10.5 stock 8 turbo, stock intake mani, stock exhaust mani, stock TB! Big shout out to Blevins tuning for making this thing come together!

I have multiple runs on the computer of high 370, low 380 runs all with 360 torque I am out of town at the moment. I know there are at least 3 others at 370+ whp and they were all ran very close together. This run was about 2 hours after car was shut off so she was good and cool. A lot of people thought the e85 #'s were high also but I backed that up at the track just as I will with these when she opens back up

Those are some great numbers for a evo 8 turbo on 93 pump. Is the tune on the aggressive side?

with tuning there is no e85 cold start issues no matter what the temp is outside.

so that's something id look into next time you're on e85.

power looks good though. 121 is a nice trap for your mods on e85 also.

There is when you email and you dont take the time to fool with idle settings lol. Too much logging for me, just gimmie da powaaaa! Lol and thanks bro I appreciate it. It should honestly go 123+ 4th gear was giving me issues at the time of the 121 pass.

Actually no it really isn't. 0 knock in every log I did. Low boost. Afr's are pretty low as well. I couldn't be happier with a 93 set up.

So you would say a conservative tune. Isn't zero knock a good thing ? What is an acceptable amont of knock? My tuner actually tunes the same way , he said he wants to see no knock on any of the pulls. He tuned with very conservative timing and 11.5 -11.8 afr on my car.

Yeah of course you would like zero knock in a tune I just through that out there with details. Yes I would be pressed to say it could get some more power out of it but it pulls amazing and is very conservative. I leave the e85 to do the dirty work where it's needed lol
