Massive numbers. Why does it just flatline from 6400 on 93?

because thats all the car will do on 93. it reaches its max # then holds it. atleast its holding it though and not falling down.

Gotta keep in mind the car has 272 cams, stock intake mani, stock head, stock tb, etc. some port work will bring this car alive a good bit more and a nice big 280 cam like a gsc s3 will do wonders for it uptop.

I'm working with another car also on a 2.4 with a 6466 but he has GSC R2 cams & is a evo 9 and is seeing full boost by 4700rpm (30psi) in 3rd gear. pretty impressive turbo no doubt.

Very impressive numbers for sure, especially for the stock parts that are on it. Does owner plan to hit drag strip with it at all?

Brian may go to the track with me on Sunday. I'd like to see how squirrelly the car gets down the track with all that torque.

Good god this thing is a freakin monster. Amazing tune as always, Tom. I want to see this thing with GSC S3's and a badass intake Manifold like AMS F1i + 70mm throttle body. This thing with just a few tweaks will become even more incredible. Dat spool!

I'm trying to talk him into letting you drive it down the track!

Thanks. Its certainly a team effort. Brian did a wonderful job on getting the car ready and everything is as it should be. But that is to be expected, he makes a living making sure airplanes are safe to fly.

You got it. S3 and a aftermarket or ported intake mani with a bigger tb like a 70mm will definitely put this car into another level.

ADD:

For those who browse and read this section of the forum for educational purposes and to learn what setups work best,
Id like to note this vehicle is using a H1528SP6051S 87MM .051 THICKNESS Cometic HG.
So this thing is not oringed and is not running thicker head studs?

No o rings used, and standard 11mm arp L19 head studs. Nothing special.

What's the max power you can run with the Cometic and the L19s before needing orings?

I really don't know what the max power level is with this head gasket nor with the L19's but I do know that deck and cylinder head smoothness are extremely important on these 2.4's

The car runs great on pump gas. No issues. The a/f swings a bit at idle (13.2 -14.5) but it dosen't affect the drivability of the car. With these large injectors they love E85.

I am trying to decide on injectors but we do not have E85 here. I will be running race gas. I dont want to get huge injectors if pump gas drivebality is bad.
