KP made 620whp DJ on his setup on 93. These 6266s are nutty pump gas turbos.

work paid off by making it work with this high boost. customer won the 4 cyl class in the dyno competition.

heres what it made on a dyno dynamics;

Phillip emailed me the following:

Welp the Dyno backed up the numbers and everyone was blown away. I won the 4 cylinder FI class! And folks flip that I had a dyno sheet already with those same numbers lol.

curious to see what it makes once i can drop the boost around 33psi. def cant be running 40psi on 93 for to much longer.

Tom did a great job, as usual. Car is a blast to drive and looking forward to tweaking it more. Hoping to get the time to replace the wastegate springs this weekend. Stay tuned for E85 numbers as well!!

Crazy power on 93.

I'd consider a different approach to controlling boost then dropping spring pressure though.

Almost 600 though. 595 close enough to say 600.

What other approach? if you don't change the springs the wastegates are going to keep making it run 38psi~. the wastegates are what control base pressure.

the springs are why its doing what its doing. or are you going to suggest larger wga size? or maybe a wga mod that i don't know about or something? adding a mbc may dip it alittle, but won't be enough.

curious what you have in mind! if its something simple and it works i'm all ears.

I don't see another way to drop base boost except by changing springs either. If you have a better way let me know.

i dont understand tho. 2 x 15psi springs = 38-40psi..... how/why? is it the wgs are really to small?

Any of you guys running a setup like this? I'm getting different mix ideas on how to run the hoses from the wastegate ports. I currently have one side port on each gate running to the 3 port. It was pointed out to me that this was wrong and I need to cap the other ports. Paperwork says to cap only if your running water, nothing about the air ports. Any input would be great.

I know when my twinscroll 6266 with dual wastegates was plumbed wrong (the air lines to my 3 port) I was running really high boost.

Sounds like you could have that hooked up wrong. MAP fixed it for me though so I am not sure what changes were made or how exactly its hooked up now.

Assuming everything is hooked up correctly, you simply don't have enough wastegate flow. It's not an easy fix, but it's the right way to fix the problem.

There are numerous benefits to fixing this problem correctly. Better response and more power are two benefits.

Don't 2 x 15psi wastegate generate a 15psi base boost line?
