)))) but power does not make peak boost, only torque, so if you are is interested in power and engine's long life-dont apply high boost by stock frame)))

i have seen stock frame hold boost ,in second gear boost dont drop much.

I'm also interested how do you make stock turbo to hold that high boost in upper rpms.

well, 30 psi is not a problem for peak but I only manage to hold 15-ish psi to redline
2.3 liter and S2 cams here

with 2.3L it's harder,the power will drop at redline,back pressure.
try to preload your wastegate harder,mine is preloaded to the max.

I am very happy with my 403whp and 395tq, very impressed with my stock 9 turbo for now until i can afford later down the road to go bigger.However i am very much looking forward to taking my car to the drag strip and pull some good times hopefully rather than trying to argue with you here further on stock frame turbo.

Its not just the size of the turbo that matter, its a combination of the right parts, tuning and good driving skills that's all way more important that just a big turbo.

for autoX i found best results comes from cars with stock turbo and HKS GTII~,for street and other kind of racing gt30 and bigger is the way to go,i liked the HTA Green very much though.

you mean the exaust pressure makes the flapper to force open and that's why turbo drops boost ?

yes that's what i believe also with 2.3L the stock frame will not be good as different frame turbocharger like gt30r .82 with external wastegate,the stock little turbo will be chocking the engine beyond 6500 from my own experience.

the evo 9 turbo still kick *** making 400 whp+ at 6500 is great..i don't believe it will make more than 450 whp running higher compression pistons and 280 degree cams like S3
