updated first post with video here of it on the dyno. not a long video but you can hear the pull at least.

 

Hopefully that wont be to far off... My build is nearly identical...except, I have a cobb exhaust, ported head, rev3 intake, cams similar to r2's but from piper race cams... And an ef4... I also have a evo 9 5spd with a 4.0 and idk how that will effect dyno numbers...

Once its fully tuned i hoped to make 650-700 but seeing these results i'm hoping i make 700-750 now...

 

Good luck to ya for sure man. Whats the flow rate on the ef4? Real low 70's lb a min rite?

 

About 72lbs/min according to map...
Versus the 68lbs/min of the fp black...

 

that sounds about right.

 

I have gotten confirmation from FP that this is the highest HP twin scroll fp black to date on an evo.

done with 3 mufflers and s2 cams. i can't get over how it has 3 mufflers and that does not affect power output.

I think if we ran the downpipe open and put s3's in here the car would make 750.

 

what actual mufflers were used? sounds nice on the dyno. not obnoxious like most

 

Two Magnaflow and one Vibrant. All are 3" flow through.

 

I'm hopin to make the same kind of power once my motor is built, but Tom, how long would you guess this turbo will last at this power level before going boom?

 

Should last a long time. we dialed the boost down a bit from where it was making this power.

the boost was 35-36psi uptop and downlow it touched 42psi.

i have the boost curve if you're interested in seeing it.
