hx40 twinscroll 91octane 500+
One of My really good friend's car I tuned this weekend on 91 octane




This car is just insane in the build quality and the attention to detail. I was thoroughly impressed by the responsiveness of this turbo and the whole car. I don't understand why more people don't utilize these cheaper turbo options
this is 100% 91 octane and at 4800 ft above sea level in utah(slc) I was being conservative on his tune because he daily drives it and also track races too.

2.3 stroker motor eagle rods. wiseco pistons
stock head
supertech springs
gsc s2 cams
880cc injectors
walbro 255 modded
jacks transmission trans and t case
EBB Fab top mount twinscroll kit
EBB Fab 3' aluminum intercooler piping
Holset hx-40 hybrid with borg warner compressor wheel
holset 12cm (.89 A/R housing t3)
twin mvs wastegates
ets garret core
stock intake manifold
stock tb
sparktech cop kit
stock 7 heat range plugs
this car has been lightend and had huge widebody kit and also on some knarly rpf-01 the weight is scaled weight with two people in the car and the pull was in third gear at 31psi tapering to 27 by redline
tires are 265/45/17

nice numbers though
wonder how HX35 performs on similar setup
thinking of buying one but don't want late spool and big peak numpers. looking for good response and nice long powerband. can't decide...
p.s. can you share the timing map of that tune ?

good numbers but power drops at redline,what's your ignition timing figures ?
stunt:hx35 with 12 cm will spool much better than HX40,you can buy BEP or tims housing .55 A/R spools pretty quick and flows good.
i got mine used and externally gated for 200 usd.

Jose, thanks for posting this! The car feels amazing. I can't wait to go for round two!
Here is my actual build list. I did not post a build thread because I truly didnt have the time which is mostly why there is a round two even to speak of. Poor machine work, lack of time to have it fixed and a loooong *** story. But, all in all guys these numbers were on a hurt motor as well.
