Walbro 255. need a tune?

i have a Walbro 255 laying around do i need a tune if i install it?

no you won't. just install it, you may run a little richer. your fpr should do what it's supposed to do. but do get a tune soon.

Get a tune sooner rather than later. Do you have any other mods laying around or are planning on doing?! If so wait for a tune until those parts are installed.

It wont affect idle or cruise but in most cases your full throttle/full boost AFR is going to be fairly rich, as in rich enough to lose power. It wont damage anything but the car wont be near its potential.

255 for IX is not the most critical mod without a tune… but to get your car running correctly, all mods should undergo a tune.

But a tune just for fuel pump seems like a bit of a waste.

get some additional mods to make the tune worth while.

obviously you upgraded a fuel pump to cater for adding more power… its a matter of time until you decide you want more power & mods…

i have a mis fire and a problem staring so got a 255 from a friend just to test it out
