e_kobz's Evo IX - 382/397 on E85 @ 29psi
Got my Evo IX retuned this afternoon before my NASA track day next weekend. My friend Tony Szirka of UMS Tuning was responsible for the tune via his Dynapack. It's still pretty warm here in AZ, was around 86 degrees during the tuning session and the humidity was lingering around 24% from a huge rain storm we had this past weekend.
Car's modifications are in my signature below. The main reason I wanted a retune was because I recently installed a Turbosmart 22psi WGA and switched from a Forge MBC to a Grimmspeed 3 port. First thing he did was touch up the pump gas tune. I didn't get any pics of the dyno sheets, but the car put down 346whp and 331wtq at 24psi of boost on crappy AZ 91 gas, not too bad. Then came the E85 retune. On E85 the car put down 382whp and 397wtq at 29psi. We were trying to take it to 30psi but the turbo just couldn't flow anymore. All in all quite happy with the numbers, it's gonna be a blast at the track. Some how I must've missed it but AFR's were at a consistent 12.2. Next plan is to upgrade to the FP 71HTA CHRA and a set of GSC S2's.
All pulls were done in 4th gear

Woke up early today to took the car out when the weather was at its coolest for the day, 64 degrees. Windows down and Tool coming through the speakers, it's a damn good morning. Its getting to be good boosting weather in AZ, it's only gonna get cooler from here on out. Can't wait until it's mid 60's during the day and mid 30's/low 40's at night.

So far I love this tune, the car is an absolute animal on the street. Big shout out to my tuner Tony Szirka of UMS Tuning because my car has never felt this good. My only complaint is with the Turbosmart WGA. It is doesn't open until around 22psi at which point you hear the scream from the Muse 02 dump. However once you get up into the higher rpm's the boost starts to taper off and the scream from the 02 dump goes away. Not a big deal, I just love hearing that sound

Little update: Took the car out with NASA AZ at Inde Motorsports Ranch over the weekend. The track is a 2.75 mile beast. The car performed flawlessly without skipping a beat. On the main straight after turn 3 I was hitting 135mph before slowing down into turn 4. The back section is all hard right and left turns, some with a negative radius. The quick spool of the turbo kept me powering through them all day. All in all the weekend was great.
