Full-Race TwinScroll BW9180

Haven't posted in awhile, just enjoying the EVO - Upgraded from the 40R to the BW9180 this year, had to add secondary injectors (1000cc primary and 2200cc secondary) but the rest of the build is still pretty much as is from 2010 - see build here https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...croll-40r.html

Full-Race Twinscroll 40R - BW9180
Boost was 42 psi dropping to 38 psi on the 9180 (solid lines). Boost on the 40r was 38 psi dropping to 34 psi (dotted lines). The 40r was tuned with e98, the 9180 was tuned on VP C85. Everything else is the same. The car is still using the 3" turboback exhaust as well.

Walk around:

Some vids from a couple of SlipStream Racing events:

vs Petrolwerks GT500

vs Modded TT 911

vs Supercharged C6

This is amazing. Is that on the Dynapack hub Dyno? Have you had it on a DynoJet or run at the track?

Is the response and spool of this turbo really better than analog ? What do you think?

What about compare with PTE6466 Gen.2 (for street car) ?

Thank you! The car is amazing !

I love this kind of racing. Awesome car and way to represent the evo against those cars! Drag racing is cool but an Evo with good suspension and some sticky tires is a whole different kind of fun.

Just beautiful! Went with the 6466 and now I'm kicking myself for not wanting to wait for the 9180. Nice vids!

Philthy, did you have to cut the transmission mounting boss by the front engine mount? If so what are you doing for the front engine mount setup now that it has been cut? Do you have pics?

It's invitation only. And you car has to be pretty-darn-fast to be invited. :}
