Interesting to see a northern car in florida lol. Also, I feel bad for that starter/wire. How well does that radiator stay in place with that one bracket?

Consider upgrading to the lithium impacts. Lighter, and much more powerful

Chump car? Local crew here runs the same chassis lol!

Owner is good friends with Mike Adkins and trailer-ed it down to get dyno tune by him, since where he lives there isn't close by. We rebuilt it with few upgraded parts and tuned it Monday night. No worry's starter didn't stay like that, it was taken off shorty after I took the picture.

I saw that you are using carbonetics clutch.
Is it a twin or triple?

Do you have issues shifting above 9000rpm?

I am using a carbonetics triple and i cannot shift if i pass the 9000rpm range.
The same happens with a friends EVO,same specs.

With the twin the shift problem is above 9300rpm.

It has to do with the rotating mass.

Other than that drivability is perfect and also it can handle a lot of power.
I am in the 750+whp range and i have it for 10,000km without other issues expect the high rpm shift.

Its a Triple on this car, and no we haven't experienced any high RPM lockout. Even on our Evo 8 track car we had the twin disc from carbonetics and Mike Rev it to 10,000rpm never had any issues. The pedal feel and engagement is near perfect. Feeling almost just like OEM clutch.

I have the Carbonetic triple too. I love it. I only rev my 2.3 to 8k but bangs all gears super fast with the exception of 2nd. I have to 1-2 shift around 73-7400. I'm curious if a damper pulley will help the issue.

fwiw, my 2.4 wouldnt shift above 6000rpms on the stock clutch.. at all.. it wouldnt disengage... I happened to put a Fluidampr on the car while I had this isssue.. it did not help the problem whatsoever. It did make a noticeable difference to vibration which is what I bought it for.. but until I went to a twin disc, I had the shifting problem. Now It shifts good (shift at 8k)

Hopefully we shall see this car at the shoot out. Haven't heard any confirmation from the owner yet.
