Talking "BeaterEvo" | 2006 gsr | 71hta | e85 | s2 | blockstock | 485/444

Just finished up my side-girls' fresh e85 stuffing the other night, immediately following the addition of a new FP 71HTA with the neato antisurge cover, a sexy JM fab hood dump, and a very much anticipated replacement AC compressor. No AC in soFLO is neverrr a good idea. Now I can take the evo on dates! because girls love open dumps.

So anyway, this bargain $600 turbo has officially made me happier than my daughter getting straight A's. With its stock-like spool character and fighterjet-esque screams, I'm pretty damn confident this was the perfect addition to complete my fun beater build…
did I really just say complete? man..

The punched 255 is officially maxed out, as I'm observing an occasional high-rpm afr spike above 12.3 when getting rowdy through gears. Im currently sourcing a hobbs switch to give the poor wally an extra confidence boost wired from the battery. If this doesn't cure my woes then walbro 450 it is.

Car is currently at 105k, bought it stock at 85k and have been giving it hell since. She puts up with all my bull**** and continuously surprises me, not unlike the woman in my life. I think this is true love, gentleman… well, until its GTR time of course…

But an enormous thanks goes out to Marlon and Ryan of MOP Performance in Pompano Beach, FL. Marlon having just lost a close friend still strived to make me feel like a priority. MOP=integrity.

Awesome setup. Glad to see someone else besides me pushing the 71HTA hard. Your setup makes me even more excited to put cams in mine. I did 450whp/400wtq at 31psi on the stock cams and I have a set of S1's waiting to go in. Once again awesome setup, I bet it rips.

thanks it is a handful on the streets

I would just go with s2's or kelford 272's, improvements won't be as noticeable with the s1's

I trust our stock camsprings with any FP green size turbo and smaller… if that is your only reservation

So I take you're on the stock valve springs then?!

s2@32psi on stock valvesprings and 485ft lbs dynojet (stock block) would make me VERY nervous!

Truth is, nobody knows why Marcellus threw Tony out of that fourth-story window except for Marcellus and Tony.

Marcellus is not a *****.

Great results! Very interested in a 71HTA.

BTW, the correct answer to the poll is "what?"

I'm getting excited to get my 71 on. I am thinking I need to look into a fuel pump as the ol wally might not cut it. I would rather have a little extra insurance in the pump department. That is a lot of tq for the stock block. I'm excited to see what power I can put down.
