gen2 6266 2.3 evo9
after a long time a tons of money my evo is finally finished and i couldn't be happier. all of the work has been done by a shop in Tucson AZ called PSI. I'm only on the base tune for now, i have about 500 miles until we put the fuel system in and tune for power.
mod list:
2.3 PSI stroker engine 9:1 compression
oliver I beam rods
arais stroker pistons
GSC billet R2 cams
GSC valve train
PTE gen2 6266
PSI V-Band turbo kit
PSI innercooler pipe
ETS 3.5 innercooler
stock intake manifold
FIC 1650 high-z injectors
sparktech COP
double pumper
FPR kit (lines,fittings,adapters)
pull stopped at 6k no real need to go passed on the base tune. turning it up at the 700 mile mark.

Thats pretty good power at 19psi. I bet that thing will really wake up with some boost. You will need to remove that MAF if you're going to be above 600whp. If you aren't going to be that high then the MAF will be fine.
Congratulations on finally being happy with the car.

nope 39psi on a mustang dyno. I wasn't happy about it at all. I'm sending my turbo out to get it made into a 6466. I am going to also put bigger cams in as well. I am hoping that will get me closer to 750hp I hope. :/

Are you sure it wasn't the dyno? There is a guy who goes to the same shop as me and made a little over 700 on the first gen 6266. 39psi and a mustang dyno

If you had a better intake manifold, your would of made another 40-50 whp easy. Magnus, ams, driven innovations, skunk works.

If you already have decent sized 272 type cams in the car, a race manifold will net your twice the power, than going with 280's. Your bottle neck in your setup is the stock manifold intake manifold, even ported. I know from experience, when I had my evo 9 with a fp red, and added a magnus intake manifold. I gained an easy 30 whp, because of the the larger plenum on it, its twice the size of the stock intake manifold. With the size turbo you have on your car, you should be able to make an easy 50 whp. Do some research on the magnus v5 on this forum. You will see good results. If your on a budget I can understand why you want to go with slightly larger cams. But you will not be happy with another 20-30 whp. Because obviously your looking for alot of power.
