Evo IX MR - Stock long block / FP Black / Stock cams / E85 + EF3 vs Black comparison
Andrew swapped his EF3 for an FP Black twin scroll and here are the results.
Also I will attach a not so much apples to apples turbo comparison (Temp outside, few different bolt ons), but you can see they do have some similarities to them based on the curve.
36psi didn't yield any gains really up top, so we kept it around 34-35, and another rom for safer usage around 31-32.
Temps during tuning the FP black: 100F / Arizona / E60-70 Fuel (Car couldn't take over 12* for example)

Powerband is only delayed a whole 200rpms, and ambient temp was 20* hotter for the black. Black FTW...

I was about to say keep this in mind. Based on personal experience with my personal car out, I notice roughly 1F drop is equal to a 1WHP pickup.
Using that above equation, This makes the FP Black 20WHP more everywhere then the EF3 in that graph. So do keep that in mind.
The EF3 on this car was done at 448 and the fp black technically can do 526.
This is also why I said the comparison is not to be taken serious / not apples to apples. I don't want anyone to get upset over guessing what is and what is not occurring.
Also the pull was started later on the fp black.
