Tom,
This is very impressive build.
Its a pleasure to see how you sorted all nitpicks and created a fantastic tool.
FiTronic kit is awesome, I cannot imagine swapping from fuel to fuel or having to bring fuel home/running out- since E85 stations are few and far in between , thus cannot imagine the E85 tune without having Flex Fuel capability.
Not to mention the ability to even troubleshoot car thru display MUT signals.
This is very impressive build.

Funny coincidence, my name is also Brett and I am also a Ranger... Looking to do a very similar turbo setup on my MAP 2.3. The flex fuel unit definitely seems like the way to go for us up North where E85 is scarce... Very nice write-up. Interested to see how reliable the Flex Fuel setup is.

It is a really cool thing to be able to do with a car. Im a big fan of the flex fuel stuff now.

Very nice! Ya it works quite great. I have a bunch of people running our system now with great results.
Thanks!

It seems to be doing just fine honestly. This is a build from 2008, so the FMIC is from 2008 (old version). I read somewhere else before, the old cores were more efficient.
Most people that use Garrett GT cores run the 3.8" version, but they advertise it as the 4".
There is a such thing as to big of a FMIC, where you can actually be so big that it makes the turbo work harder to maintain pressure. So if you get to big you can cause pressure drop issues making the setup function less efficient.
