Can the super 99 be installed in the same manner of a stock location turbo or can it only be used in a forward facing configuration because of size. ????????

I doubt you even own an Evo.

We will see what happens. My best Evo buddy just pulled the trigger on a 6870 for his evo9. Very similar except he is running s3's and a AMS intake. I would like to break 900hp with the stock intake and TB. I will be running the S369 with 1.0 a/r hotside instead of the .91. I believe he has the .81 a/r vband. My exhaust wheel is larger by 3mm, so I'm thinking it will be close. Fuel wise I will be upgrading my double pumper as I'm already out to 85% duty cycle @ 42psi. I also would like to break the stock rom hp record. I have a 7 bar Omni working well now, he only has a 4 bar. I think he will be boost limited with his DP and 4 bar. We will find out.

I just tuned this car.
Stock intake manifold with a ported throttle body.

What's choking it after 7500, the stock intake or turbine housing?

Smaller... lol customer didn't listen and bought the .84 ar housing. I told him to do a minimum of 1.00 but he was afraid of spool. As you can see it's choking out from drive pressure.

Second ad third biggest reasons is the sp cover, and intake/cam setup. My car runs the same turbo with a 1.15 ar, hp 3" outlet cover, stm 650 cams and a jmfab drag mani and pound for pound @42psi I pick up almost 50 hp and a flatter curve up top and funny enough it's spoils just as quick.

Mostly turbine housing, and comp cover, intake is debatable but possible.

Skip to 2:15 seconds to see the car when it was in a 700 hp base tune.

https://youtu.be/qUumqcy1-BY

this was still at 700ish hp (single fuel pump and 1400cc injectors 30psi) he had a coil that failed at end of video. In both videos there is a red hatch he races they say makes 450hp but it's a lot more than that (k swapped, outlaw front end, 66mm turbo on huge slicks) as you can see from first video when they are playing with a 600 crx.

That's a sweet ride! Thanks 4 the follow up. Yea the .84 hotside is killing him up top. Can we see a graph of your car? You guys are running e85 right? What is your opinion on the 6870 .81 a/r vband single scroll?

I'll find mine. And as far as the vband they make good power but definitely give up some spool. IMO twinscroll t4 is a great way to go. They say the general rule is it spools as 60% of the ad and flows like 90% of ar up top
