Freak stock block?

Local tuner posted this, wanted to hear feedback. I've never seen power like this especially in Colorado

Hard to believe being on pump gas and 18psi. Also what do they mean by 8 degrees of timing?

That's a good joke.

I've seen a similar setup make about 415whp. 91 octane, 22psi of boost, not sure on timing, but likely somewhere in the 8-10* range out the top.

No way that car made 500.

A 60 lb/min turbo is not making 500whp/420wtq on 18psi with that timing.

Math.

For contrast. Here is my 5858 (also a 60 lb/min turbo) at 19-20 psi and about the same timing.

That's also on E85, a built motor, and a full turbo kit. All helping to make a lot more power than stock frame turbo and pump gas.

Further making the claims of this tooner look all the more silly.

Its not unheard of to make 500whp on a Red on pump fuel. But that aint happening at 18# of boost. Not to mentioned they're at 5000' and not sure if that chart is supposed to be corrected or uncorrected but yeah lol.

The chart would show SAE and the settings if it was corrected.

There is so much wrong with their claim I said the the correcting factor should be renamed to Incorrected, then it got deleted and I got blocked :P

Stock catback with a 60mm testpipe cutout maxes at 505whp (repeatable)

I had R2s, a LR2.4, ported everything, Magnus, ETS 3586, 3.5 exhaust, 4" intercooler, etc, and made 519 @ 19psi on pumpgas at sea level. This fool is claiming to have done it at 5200 feet uncorrected on a smaller turbo at the same boost. How much nitrous was involved and how steep was the grade he was logging on?

Aaron
