I got 360 out of my 9.8 w/ e85 and no cams and good air. The WG might as well have been wired shut.

It will be interesting to see +350whp out of a stock 9.8T. When is the tune?

His year Evo is the 9.8

I don't know that I can guess much better than that.

Some cars are freaks and do better than others and I'm not familiar with fuel in Canada.. but I can't see 350whp happening. For reference, at about 25psi on a IX with an FPHTA71 turbo and S1 cams, I'm at 350whp on 91oct. I don't see you reaching the same on a smaller turbo and cam, even with the added octane. On the stock turbo, I was at 335-340 on 91oct and I can see your better fuel getting the smaller turbo to about the same number.

Either way, it's gonna be a blast, so try not to focus on the numbers too much. Good luck!

As for the turbos you listed, Stock IX or FP Green are the way to go. Though I had a Green die within a month, I'd still trust anything with OEM housing more than Tomei (which is also over priced, IMO).

Oh. I read Evo9 turbo instead of BOV for some reason. Yeah, maybe 340-350hp. That 9.8 hotside is big suck.

Here's my boost on 71hta and E85. A few weeks ago, I worked past midnight and came home around 1am. Temps were really cool and getting on freeway, boost spiked to 33 psi. I was shocked to see that high of a boost at 4000-4500 rpms.

so 71hta holds 25 psi at 7,000 and tapers to 21 psi at 8,000 rpm. Stock IX will be worse and stock 9.8T will be even worse.

I never checked the temp corrections. I lost my Surface Pro, so I can't look or log the last 6 weeks.

Recently made 349 with 9 turbo and S1s. I'm guessing 335-340.

so like theres only one gas station where i live that offers 94oct and they claimed that it has 10% ethanol if that makes any difference.. this is the highest grade of fuel that i can get from a gas station here..

Ill be honest.. i was hoping that the 1200cc and the s2s will get me across that 350hp along with the other stuff but i see what all of you are saying.. im on the map for a green atm.. im alreadt this deep into power mods so.. full send it is haha

another question for you seniors is... other than a turbo upgrade, what else can i add to be able to cross that 350hp mark? not looking into meth injection (dont trust me on this) and no where in canada that offers e85

The turbo or fuel are limiting you. The injectors are WAY more than enough. You can do 600whp+ on pump gas with those and a large enough turbo or 450whp+ on e85. You have to either get a larger turbo or use meth (or something with more ethanol). Depending on how close you get now, a larger cam *might* get you there, if you don't mind upgrading the drivetrain and dealing with a rougher idle. Even still... a large cam with a small turbo... I'm not sure the turbo could move enough air. Maybe someone who knows better can chime in on that one.

OEM shortblock can make as much power as you want, as long as you keep torque in check. How much torque depends on who you ask. I stopped mine at 375wtq. Keep torque to that, then go as large on the turbo as you want to get the number you want. Keep in mind the more power = more lag = less fun at your AX events.

Make sure to do a boost leak test and check your throttle body seals. Test to 26 psi.
