Maybe but a Twin scroll can flow better if done right as well. READ:

With the twin-scroll turbo system, the engine is also less sensitive to the ill effects of long-duration camshafts. A twin-scroll turbo system is simply a better mouse trap than a single-scroll. Having quicker torque delivery when the driver needs it not only increases performance, but it also adds fun. Be sure to stay tuned and subscribe as we plan to show how the A/R of the turbine section affects performance.
No you MAY need a better custome built Twin Scroll Exhaust maniold. A ported stock is fine but you may need a much larger SS Twin scroll simply for more volume. I would imagine a huge Single Scroll may make more PEAK power but at the cost of everything else.

The Bottom Line
The overlap of exhaust valve events between sequentially firing cylinders reduces engine performance and boost response. Twin-scroll turbocharger systems can either completely eliminate or substantially reduce this overlap period. When this overlap period is reduced or eliminated, the engine experiences less pumping losses and a reduced intake charge dilution for increased performance and efficiency. With the twin-scroll turbo system, the engine is also less sensitive to the ill effects of long-duration camshafts. Very Nice, that Red is PumpGas and that G30-770 is on a 2.2 and race gas or flex fuel? Race gas makes a hug different. My FP BB Red made 400 FP's or Torque on Pump and almost 500WHP 29 PSI falling to 27 at Red Line.
Unfortunately, No. A vband g30-770 smokes a single scroll FP Red. I enjoyed this setup more than more than scroll red, which did hit 400wtq at 3900. But it was down 70whp at peak, and didnt pull past 7000 nearly as well. With modern turbo tech, stock frame stuff is pretty meh.

That graph is the G30 on ACN91 and E85.
My car used to have a Xona red with the htz compressor. It did 445whp on pump gas and 600 on E85.
After driving the g30 I would never go back to stock frame stuff.
