Wow, I love projects like these. I'm used to long, extensive projects in the 240sx world. This looks like a really clean job. You are doing great work. Can't wait to see the finished project. More PICS!

JDub went to school @ University of Civics and Integras, but you can call it UCI for short.

Yeah, I went to UCI. Car audio is just a hobby of mine.

Thanks for the instructions George. Anyone know how to read Japanese? lol
I'm suprised that they couldn't figure out a better way to mount the pod than screwing into the dash...

Oh, george, where'd you put the other rubber mounting ring. You guys were playing w/ them and I don't know where the ring is anymore. And I don't have the Defi sticker for the gauge pod.

They aren't installed yet. The front crossovers are going under the passenger seat. The rear crossovers are probably going to be stuck on the wheelwells, or the side of the sub box. The crossovers are ridiculously huge so there's not really much of a choice.

ah ic. i was going to put my crossovers under the drivers seat, but i decided to put my v12 4 channel under there instead. can't do the passengers seat cause of the pioneer 12 disk. i think i'll hide them in the doors. i'll have to run one strand of wires in and one out for the tweeter though. there is enough to run two strands of 12 ga speaker wire in the door boots right?

EvilBlueEvo, I'd recommend hiding them some place in the dash. There's empty spaces just below the dash surface on each side by the A-pillars. I'd put these crossovers in the dash somewhere, but they're HUGE. If you put them in the doors, they'll be somewhat exposed to the elements, and you'll need to seal them up.

There should be room for 2 12awg wires, but it'll be tough to run. You should use 16awg wires for speaker wire though since 12awg is a bit overkill for wires behind a crossover. If it was from the amp to the crossover, and you're running 500 watts or something per side, then that'd make more sense. I've always run 16 awg regardless, since 12 awg gets pretty expensive.

Thanks for the compliments LI Pinky

5.25 speakers and brackets. Same as the front ones: 1/4" hardboard painted black and coated in fiberglass resin, speaker siliconed to the bracket.

Copied the back part of the spare tire cover.

Cut out a flap for the changer, and almost done carpeting in this pic.

Flap open.

Flap closed.

Not finished with this piece. Going to finish it maybe sometime this weekend or next week. Stay tuned!
