Im 99% sure you dont need a muffler in EVO Eliminator for the Sbootout. You just need a full exhaust meaning exiting from the rear of the car.

I could be wrong.

The rules state it needs a muffler on highboost forums.

That's okay though, it doesn't weigh much at all and is only $100

I'm working on organizing a group buy for Lithium Pro Batteries.

c680's for 425.00 and l680's for 765.00

I need a vendor (hopefully ER) to step up so I can post them in the Group Buy section. If we can get 20 people... super nice price break Especially for the L680!

Lithium batteries are bada$$, just not in my budget. I've run the battery, in the link below, for over year & it has worked great for me so far. I made a simple battery tray on using a sheet metal brake & their hold down. Only time I had to jump/charge it was when the car sat for a month without being started.

Details?

i do not believe it is. i never really posted pics or to much detail about it. i was one of the 1st to use this type of battery other then my buddy who gave me the idea. so i kept it kinda to my self other then a few convo's with some people.

my battery and tray weigh in at 6.5lbs total. the battery is as stated above. 550CCA, 12V, 36AMP and basically the same size as the PC680. i could have used a smaller lighter battery to still get the job done but i wanted the largest battery i could fit in the PC680 size. i had a custom battery tray made for the battery.

Question on those running an Aluminum exhaust for light weight. Will it with stand the head on track or is this for most of the Drag racers/ Auto X guys with shorter running times? Current project I am working on is going to be more of a Time Attack car with about a 30min practice sessions and timed events. Wondering if any part of a Aluminum exhaust could hold up to the heat. I know there is basically no way a Aluminum DP would hold up but wondering about maybe the cat back portion?
