Flip out tv & radio Relocation kit...

I was wondering If a flip out tv would work where the radio relocation kit goes. Also If anyones done it some pics would be really appreciated. Also would the passengers in the back be able to watch tv ok. The reason Im asking is because im going on a 6 hour trip soon and want to entertain my passengers a bit... Also I did try searching and could not come up with anything...Any postive help and input would be appreciated thanks...

I don't think it would work but I'm not positive since I didn't actually try it. It MAY clear the horizontal distance between the dash and the shifter but mine didn't appear to be able to clear out far enough to be able to flip up completely since the bottom cubby is kinda recessed.

I have the alpine iva d300 which is a 7in widescreen and even when the screen is extended all the way forward which is about an inch to an inch and 1/2 it has to be angled down to clear the dash strip below the ac controls. the angle is bad enough that you cant see it clearly. plus i seriously doubt that the passengers will be able to see it as well. no pics sorry

Mine is down there, and is visible fine. It will only hit the shifter in the top gears when it is folding out or flipping in. I am too lazy to take pictures and put them up.

Hey thx for all the input guys...I plan to be in 5th gear for the majority of the time...Im heading from miami to a little past gainsville...The only reason im not putting it in the regular location is because im putting the 3 gauges in there... w/e if I cant do it guess there gonna be screwed...But dont worry guys I would probably be too lazy to take pics also...

I have mine in the bottom also. I had to shim it out with 2 small washers on each mounting screw so it would clear the lip of the climate center. When it's all together you can't tell any different.

Sorry for the bad pic, but I took it with my phone
