Contemplating Battery Relocation
Contemplating Battery Relocation
Im thinking about relocating the battery to the rear passenger side of the trunk and my main question is getting started. Any pictures or suggestions of a distribution block that anyone has used in their relocation project? I've been looking at the relocation kits and haven't seen a Distribution block included. I'm asking because i know your never supposed to solder power cable you always want one continuous cable. Help on starting this project would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Just connect the new battery cable running from the trunk to the original distribution block that came off the battery, you kow, the one with the two fuses. I made a protective box for mine and mounted it to one of the brake resivoir mounts. I used a kit from Summit Racing, cost around $100 and came with 1 gauge cable
with battery connectors already on cables and all hardware needed. The box is a little bulky but not bad. I also mounted a circuit breaker in the trunk. Very easy to do,even running the cable was pretty simple. I'm posting some pics in the General Forum.
