Where can I get the battery relocation connectors from?
I'm about to get the battery relocation wiring kit from summit racing (the 2ga wiring kit, positive and negative). All I need to find now is the little metal connector that joins the new remote battery terminal to the positive terminal that is still under the hood.
Also, to those that have relocated your battery, where did you connect your ground cable? Do you even have to connect it to something, or can you just tuck it away?
Thanks!

Ok cool, that takes care of the ground cable!
Now, what should I do about joining the two cables under the hood? I guess it would have to be something with two posts on it that I could just slip each of the terminals on to.. I'm not really sure.
Bump!

Nice writeup. Looking at that (since I haven't taken off the positive terminal on my car yet) makes me realize this is going to be a lot easier than I had first thought (and not to mention cheaper). That definitely eliminates the need for a distribution block in the engine compartment, and keeps it possible to jump start the car from the front.

For an EVO I wouldn't go any less than 2 gauge, but the real determining factor is how many amps are being drawn when you start up the car. If you search online you can find out how much amperage different gauge wire can carry. Knowing how much your car pulls when you start it will help you determine what gauge you need.
