battery or intake
battery or intake
1st Question: I have a 2012 Ralliart and relocated the battery to the
trunk, but the car has been idling like its about to stall.
Any Advice?
Do i need a distribution block from the Engine to Trunk?
Or just wrong wiring from the engine ?
when i turn my A/c the car stalls ?
should of told you guys this from the gecko sorry

^ Critical. If too much resistance - all your bat power is just heating the cable and starving the system
Is it cranking slow too?
Measure resistance from the bat to the starter and from bat to block.

2ga should be enough if the cable is quality but if you have a bad connection at your splice you'd have issues.

I just did this as well...
My positive cable runs from front of car to the trunk... still trying to find a good way to hook that up under the hood without electrical tape. What did you do with the stock positive battery connector with all the wires running to it?
As for negative, just tape up the terminal under the hood, its grounded on the frame already. Then in the trunk there is a gromet that goes down towards the axle behind the passenger rear tire. put the wire through it. then find a good spot on the frame, sand it down to bare metal, and drill a hole as the summit kit says and put the bolt with it through to ground the wire. once your sure its secure spray over it with some underbody sealing spray.
