do you need a harness? technically no........but it will make things A LOT easier. i did a few RS around here, and they came pre-wired for speakers and a HU. It actually made it easier for me to do all the installs. if for some reason its not pre-wired. its still pretty easy.

Good luck

Yeah do a search here and you'll find the part number for the plugs that mate up with the factory wiring. You don't need to cut any wires to install a headunit and four speakers. You may have a slight challenge getting some quality speakers that line up with the existing holes in the rear deck, but the fronts should match up no problem with most applications.

just get a wiring harness for your car and color match the wire colors form the back of the deck to the harness plugged into the one in the dash! good luck

Get 4 of these plugs from Circuit City MET728104 to connect your speakers. Labeled for Toyota. $10.99/each. They will prevent you from having to CUT INTO your factory wiring. Bueno Suerte
