Keyless Immobilizer Bypass?

I have searched and I cannot find anything conclusive.

Has anyone located a KEYLESS Immobilizer bypass that will work for a 2003 Evo?

I recently had an Easycar e502 installed and I would like to get the immobilizer bypass hooked up, but would hate to have to give up a $130 key (from my local dealer with programming).

Anyone have any info?

Thanks.

I tried a keyless bypass moduleI couldn't get the thing to program. I finally gave in and just got a key from eBay and will get it cut and program it myself and use the DEI unit that works. I will just grind down the key again before I put it in the box. The key itself if I recall was about ~$30 and the programming procedures are in the manual and on this site.

a local alarm shop showed me this module that read your stock key and you didnt have to give up a key...it only sends the signal when autostart is pressed and if sombody tries to steal your car you wouldnt have to worry about a spare key in your car......it was for a chrysler but i have seen it work on 2002+ mitsubishis including a 05 evo mr that was getting it installed.

I've tried a couple of them and have not had any luck (ones designed for 03+ lancers.) Do you have the name/number of the shop that was able to get it working on the MR?

if you have 2 keys already, order another key from streetkeys.com, i think its like 45. you can program the key yourself.

programmed keys:
take first key stick it in ignition, turn it to on position for 3 seconds, turn off
take second key, stick in ignition, turn to on position for 3 seconds, turn off

take unprogrammed key, stick in ignition, turn it to the on position for 4 seconds

and ta-da, it is programmed. and not for 130....

actually with bypasskit.com, you can program the PKU-MIT module like a chip and you don't need a key. however, in the third step it requires you to turn the ignition ON so it can send the signal to the PKU-MIT module. I just made a duplicate key without the chip to turn the ignition ON and program the PKU-MIT. this way you don't have to buy another key + bypass module.
