How do people steal Evos?
How do people steal Evos?
Just curious. I remember a while back some guy told me to get a good alarm because his two previous Evos were stolen. How the hell are they stealing them? Do they tow it? Do they hotwire it? Just want to make sure no one can jack my ****. I know an alarm helps but I want to know how they exactly steal it.
Do you really want the answer posted so that a "would be theif" reading this post could actually steal Evos with ease. Get a good alarm installed correctly and keep your car out of shady areas. No worries, No problems!!!

oops did I just say that out loud?
ohh wait I already own one
I am sure a would be thief would be researching other things instead of reading the audio and security on evom.
Seriously though. I know a flatbed is how people steal Honda's nowadays. But how the hell do people get their **** jacked at the mall?
I know an alarm wont help if the guy knows what hes doing and really wants the car.

Re-route your ignition wiring to 2+ remote switches (In series)
Install a suplimental alarm to work with the stock like THIS ONE.
Grab a low power accelerometer or other motion detector, and wire it to
an auxilary port on your alarm. Get a loud loud siren, and a secondary battery backup for the whole system. Be sure to mount all of these things in uncommon hidden locations. (ie: loud siren in trunk so it cannot be disconnected before they try to take it).
Finally, keep your change/ipod/watch and what-not out of view.
With a vertical accelorometer sensor, your car wouldnt have to be super touchy and go off if a gust of wind hits it, but if its lifted/jacked/flatbeaded, its going off.
Just a few solutions that come to mind other than the obvious "stay on the right side of town, thats a nice car". Hobby-shops and Radioshack are your friend in this case.
