JL coaxials in rear deck??

JL coaxials in rear deck??

has anyone had or heard anything good about the JL Audio TR600-CXi coaxials?
i have jl components in the front and wanna get JLs for the back. anyones thoughts or suggestions? trying to buy them tomorrow so its kind of a hurry to see your opinions.

they are ok but IMO wasting money on quality rear fills is kinda pointless

I have the XR's in my parcel shelf. I like them. I also have the XR's in the front too.

I agree! you won't listen or hear music coming from those speakers anyways...so in my case I've kept the stockers in the deck. But if you've got passengers in there alot, why not pass along the audio enjoyment! JL are nice, but I prefer MB Quart.

Im definitly a bigger fan of MB's (like the previous poster said v. JL).

I disagree w/ leaving the stock speakers in if you are upgrading the fronts. Im a little more picky with things though and Ive always noticed a difference in sound quality when replacing the speakers in the rear parcel shelf in all of my cars Ive owned. Just my opinion though

most audio is two channels- so there is not need to have it reproduced from 4 directions.

the best way to achieve amazing sound quality is to invest HEAVILY into the front stage.
only do the rears if you care about your passengers.
