thats what it is for me...

ive checked the kick panel, the connectors look good there but its 2 degrees out i didn't look too long.

Did you take apart those connectors? There is corosion in some of the pins.

You are describing the same exact symptoms on a friends Evo.

The harness from the drivers kick out to the engine bay had to be replaced.

no, i didn't unplug the connectors, just a quick visual...its dark now and 15 degrees! Thanks for the input i will check them more closely, probably not til Friday....do you happen to know what it cost him to replace that?

Damn!!! $$$$$ Better hit up Southcoast and order one. 30% off all oem parts. But changing that thing has got to be a SERIOUS pain!!

It's still advertised in his signature here on the forums. Why would they stop giving the discounts?

But anyways, with the lack of room in the Evo'e engine bay, I bet changing that harness will not be fun.

well i have a buschur UICP and no battery in there so its a little more open...i'll be checking the connectors more closely tomorrow to see how they look...

well it turned out that 2 of the harnesses were corroded pretty badly. Long story short, got them replaced at the dealer.

Thanks to everyone who gave some info. This has been done for a while now but i kinda forgot about this thread. Just wanted to give an update no one cares about
