No power to my amp...Help

I've run the power wire, and ground to my amp (RF 600w). The fuse is good, and the ground is good. As far as i know, its getting power and a good ground. But for some reason, its not powering up.

Do amps have internal fuses? Could i have blown that? Its probably something stupid, but i can't seem to get any power to my amp.

Whats a "remote turn on" ?

I bought the car with a system already installed. It was done professionally, but before i bought it, the previous owner took all amps and subs, but left speakers and wires intact.

Should be a blue wire from your head unit that goes to your amp. It should be marked "remote" or something similar on the amp. That is the wire that sends the signal from your head unit to your amp, telling it to turn on. Also, if that is already hooked up, check the fuses on the amp.

remote wire is somethin that sends a negitive signal to the amplifier from the radio letting it know to turn on...remotely... there should be a blue wire, or blue with a stripe dont remember but u need to run that wire from the radio to the amp where it says....REMOTE WIRE usually between + and -

Yes, as others have said, do you have a remote wire hooked up? The remote wire is what triggers your amp to turn on based on your turning on the head unit. This is often a blue wire.

try taking a piece of wire and wire it from the power wire terminal on the amp to the remote turn on and see if it turns on then. Maybe your amp is toast.
