Sub with Carbon Trunk

I was wondering if a sub will damage a carbon Fiber Trunk? I am getting a Charge Speed carbon fiber trunk and I currently have a Rockford Fosgate T1 12" sub with a Directed 1200 watt amp. It is all good for about 800-900 watts and I dont want to go cruising with my gf and have my system up and crack my trunk or damage it! Have any of you ever had a problem with damaging the carbon fiber trunk due to your system?

Thanks

no, you wont crack it, howwever it will rattle alot more than the aluminum one, try to make your sub fire more into the cabin than into the trunk decklid....

If you fire it forward, make sure you seal the trunk from the front of the woofer good or it will sound like ***.

^ that's gonna be kinda hard to do right but even if you don't get it 100% it'll sound ok just not as loud as it would've been facing the trunk
