Not sure which part of the country your from or which company these adjusters work for but thats shoddy worksmanship on their part. However i do know that some companies train there adjusters better than others, alot better.
when i had my little accident, there were 3 additional supplements after the first because they kept finding **** wrong.

I just got my car backed in to by a truck. I can say for a fact that if didnt have my modded beam, it would have a lot worse.

Now this is far better than removing it all together….but your statement is incorrect.

Matt
There are no "shock absorbers" on the EVO to direct the impact like other cars, let alone evenly. The beam, the foam pad, and whatever crumple zones that are disigned in to the frame rails are it. Besides, looking at the crash bar, the hollow beam would collapse (absorb) first before the pedestals would.

ima about to get a jdm9 bumper because i just got rear ended....the impact was probably only 10mph or less....as of now (1st est.) $2,700. my trunk floor has ripped apart at the seem welds and folded over like paper( another EVO hit me)....IMHO i dont see how a crash beam did anything for my car....

but there is a way to modify everything to work with the JDM bumper??
