well, I have a dvd stuck in my external dvd player inside my car. is there an easy way others have found to take out a stuck dvd or any good place to get it removed and can find a resolution to not have it happen again?

It's an eclipse external car dvd player

 

Some drives have a little hole on the front that you can stick a paperclip or something similar and manually eject the disc. That or take it apart (or have someone do it). As far as it not happening again, it depends on why it stuck in the first place.

 

cool. thanks for the info. i forgot about the little hole. haven't had time to take it apart or even look further into it.

 

that didn't help, i actually took it apart and manually removed the disc. waited over an hour replugged in the dvd player. put in a new dvd. stuck again. sucks.

solution: buying a new dvd player

 

I don't know what a new once costs, but you might be able to get it fixed for a bit cheaper. Does the stuck disc play after you try to eject it?
