Going up a hill and my car dies. Not sure whats wrong with it...there are no lights, everything is dead and I tried to jump it and nothing happens except my negative battery terminal gets smoking hot. Im sure its probably something grounding out or something but if anybody know where I can start looking I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

 

what mods do you have? This would tell people trying to help what you've modified, and which wires have been moved around or are not stock, etc.

One place to check besides the engine bay/dash/ECU is the O2 sensor wire on the exhaust bung.

 

2004 Evo RS - Buschur stage 4 w/ 1000cc injectors, Evo 9 turbo, Buschur throttle body and intake manifold, Forge 22psi wastegate, 272 cams, tuned on E-85...not sure if that helps but thats about it.
