Hey guys im a brand new owner of a 06' MR and im new to the forum. I am having a little problem, I am looking swap the stock Evo seats with different ones because I need a little more room for my wide butt. I remember sitting in an rsx type-s a little while back and found them very comfortable, attractive and just the right size. So i wanna know if Its possible to just do a direct swap or would I need to modify anything. I know its a shame to get rid of these seats for different ones, but I need to be able to fit comfortably in my seats.

It'll probably require some modifications. The RECARDO brackets usually aren't too universal. You'd have to get a new bracket probably. Maybe if you get the whole seat with a new bracket from the RSX? It's something I'm sure no one has done. The stock RECAROs are amazing. I love 'em even though I may be going with a new set of BRIDEs.
