Reverse Switch

I just got finished installing a new head unit (Kenwood KVT-512) and everything works great except I need to attach a wire to the reverse sensor/switch. I'm going to assume that there is a line on the ECU that knows it's in reverse to switch on the reverse lights, but I can not find the correct pin/wire to tap into. Any help on this? Thanks.

Plus some eye candy of the install.

its on top of the transmission. easiest way to get to it is to remove the battery and battery tray. ull see the switched screwed in with a 2wire plug. it is supplied +power on one wire, when the switch is engaged , the other wire will carry power to the reverse lights

good luck!

You can find it under the drivers side floor trim (the bundle of cable under the floor). Or you can go all the way back to the taillight.
