Where do u put the Hideaway unit for indash DVD player?

tomorrow im going to install my new dvd player. Where do u guys put the hideway unit? it does not have any DIN properties lol so din mounting is not an option.

Looks like the brakets it comes with prefers to be mounted on a flat surface. I really dont want to put it in the trunk. Really. Really dont. Nada. Nononono.

Any place up front? Amps are allready under the seats so thats not an option. How bout somewhere in the center console? Its pretty big though. It measures slightly less wide, and slightly less thin, but about an inch or 2 inches longer than a single din CD player. I took off the center armrest for my original install last week. Cant remember, but I dont think there is enough room there. How bout the center console in front of the shifter? I might look behind those panels later.any ideas?

trunk really is the best place then since you have amps underneath the seats.
