Climate Control Relocation

Before you guys bash me, I've searched up and down and the only thing that comes up is how to cut the bezel to fit it on the relocation kit. I've tried to relocate the climate control to the bottom but it seems that the metal brackets get in the way. Do I have to remove those metal brackets or is there a way to do it without removing them.

hahah just kidding!

i read somewhere that the bracket that's on the way are removable. they are bolted on by a 10mm bolt. im not sure if its the same "thing" based on what i read on one of the threads here....

^^^Good looking out! I started doing it Sunday night thinking it was gonna be easy but it wasn't. Imma do it Saturday. The only thing that was holding me back was that metal bracket getting in the way of the HVAC.

Not that I would suggest doing so, but rather than remove or cut the brackets, you can get away with bending the brackets upwards.

That should get them out of the way and leave plenty of room for the HVAC controls. If memory serves, that is how the Orbital directions instructed you to remedy the problem you are having.
