Interest in replica orbital HVAC relocation Kits

I have a friend who does very good work with custom pods and such who could also make an HVAC relocation kit like the one Orbital made. I am wondering about
a) The interest in getting one made
b) The price you would expect to pay
c) If you would prefer just a plate with HVAC cut outs to sit in the pocket
If interest is high enough, ill pay him to make me one (May take a month or two) and post pictures of it here.

A. Interested
B. Hopefully a lil less than what the oribital was going for or worse case the same price.
C. If a full replica is possible, thats what i would want.

if you are gonna go through with it, get some pics up as soon as its done.

he doesant do carbon, however he hired a guy who is good with glass, and maybe the guy can learn carbon.

Also, i need a Bit more interest to justify dropping between 200-225 to get a one off made just to show it (he said that the larger quantity of interested committed people i get, the cheaper the end product would be for you guys)

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
To sell these you (or your friend) will have to be a vendor.

There is definitely interest in a quality solution for a double din. I'm looking forward to your prototype.

yea - the jdm store sells a very nice piece for the actual double din part, it's just the hvac that's an issue

The Plate in the pocket, is a great idea! The pocket matches the dash perfectly, so I think it would be batter looking overall.
I would buy one in a second (and I already HAVE an orbital!)

I know, no a problem if/when it comes around to it. Wanted to do a feeler first (dont wanna buy a vendor package, and make a product without a Hint of interest)

yeah i looked that up, first GB would be Probably be about 165 shipped (subject to change, depends on how much time it takes per)

And this would just be the HVAC peice. At a later date (Mostly dependent on if this happens or not) he could make the double din, but for now no.

Also, i know no one wants to spend extra money, so a filler plate with hvac cut outs could also be done, as it would be much cheaper. I may have him follow this if he cannot accurately replicate stock pocket texture.

I remember paying 400$ for mine when they first came out.. they are not the best fitment.

Make some nice ones become a vendor and youll be in the bank.

I have the money right now, I'm trying to buy kit from Evom member, if it doesn't work, I'll be the first one to pay for your kit.
