ok so someone just tried to steal my car...i have a decent amount of protection but need more suggestions to really make it fool proof. It sits outside with a car cover on my driveway while i'm at work, so is there anything else i can do? i have a decent alarm but i'm looking for a preventive measure when i'm not there during work. at night it doesnt matter, i can hear my alarm go off, which i did and he ran off. i was thinking of one of those steel bars that come up out the ground behind the car so they can't really go anywhere...does anyone have experience with that or know of them and where i can get one or is that just a custom thing? any other suggestions appreciated. Thanks in advance.

But in all seriousness. It sounds like you don't have a two-way alarm yet, so you might want to consider the upgrade. Also if you have nice wheels get a tilt sensor installed for sure.

More extreme options are removable steering wheel, battery backup, multiple alarms, all black stealthy wiring, etc, etc...

 

Kind of a pain but taking out your starter relay ought to slow them down!! Thats all you'll be doing. There's something called a Tow Truck, that screws up everything!!!
