Hey guys I'm 6.7 feet tall, and I totally cant heel-toe rev match because the steering wheel is in the way. In fact I can even brake with my knee in vertical position.

I have BINARY lowering brackets on my JDM evo 7 seats, its helped but not enough. How can I make the OEM MOMO wheel become closer to the driver at least 2.5-3 inches to get knee clearance. Anyone had luck SKIPPING brackets all together?

If THIS CANT BE DONE I will get a keys D-shape steering wheel, and need the longest possible adaptor. Can you guys please help me out. I dont need a flip-up thingy, and no key-lock BS) Just a spacer preferably. AGAIN spacing the wheel at least 3 inches is my priority. I will do whatever it takes. LMK what can be done.

 

Take a look at my post "stock steering wheel extension". I had a similar problem and ended up making my own since no one makes one. Let me know if you have any questions.

 

Check out the new photos in my thread, "evo 8 stock steering wheel extension" detailing how I moved my factory wheel 2.5" closer while retaining the air bag and horn. Regarding your need for possible 3" closer, you may have difficulty exiting the car. I have had this installed for over 1000 miles now, and getting out of the car is fine, but its possible that at 3", your 6'7" frame may have issues. I can tell you that I love where my wheel is now. I wish I had done this years ago. Thats what I get for waiting for someone else to never make what you really want. Let me know if you have any questions.
