Alarm system and Lojak are 2 different components.

I prefer DEI (Viper/automate etc..) for an alarm system with remote start. It is what I have installed for years and have had great success. However, it does cost more.

I have also had great luck with Audiovox (Pursuit and Prestige) comes with a lifetime warranty and is usually cheaper installed.

Lojak is Lojak. Call them up and give them 600 bucks or whatever they charge now. The install the tracking device and you will never know where it is.
