autostart with immobilizer

Is it possible to get an alarm with autostart to work with the factory evo immobilizer? A car alarm shop i went to told me there is a bypass for the immobilizer so you wont have to leave a key in the car. They also said with this bypass the factory immobilizer does not lose its functions and still makes starting the car impossible. I searched and could not find any info on such a setup so any imput would be appreciated. Thanks

He said this bypass works with DEI and Compustar. He mentioned how they program the key's info to the alarm or something like that.

Oh yeah, starting the car is pretty much not going to happen without the key but if you park your car in those areas of Jersey or in NewBritain, CT unattended, nothing in the world wil stop your car from dissappearing!!!

the way those product descriptions describe the product it seems like they bypass the alarm by putting a spare key in the car still? does anybody else have any input on this? thanks

IB-UMIT - Mitsubishi Transponder Bypass
Transponder Bypass: RF override via induction w/ loop antenna (transponder incl. no key required)
Please check the vehicle owner’s manual for additional key programming information. A Dealership SCAN TOOL may be required, in order to program to vehicle.

this is from OMEGA and they do make a remote starter.
