Stock. The wiring harnesses are already in the doors, the A-pillars, and the rear deck. All you have to do is plug the speakers in. Good luck.

get an amp and put more power to them, they really wake up. fjf really knows his stuff and is very helpful. you can do whatever you want, but i recommend listening to him. he has been down this road and back.

I tried a couple speaker brands with no luck, in the end I got a full set of OEM speakers here (35 bucks for all 6!) and I am now enjoying my music FJF helped me out too!

he is looking to upgrade from the OEM speakers; he wants to know what's good speakers that won't break the wallet. why would you suggest him to get stock speakers again?

Get a subwoofer/amp all in one unit that fits under the front seat. This will complete the sound.

Lots of reasons. All you have to do is read the other threads on the board, unless you expect me to explain it from the beginning to the end each and every time. If you find an upgrade over stock (while the car is moving), let us all know what it is.

Right. The wiring is there for the tweeters, as well. The OP can pick up a set of A-pillar covers from a partout fairly inexpensively and have a better sounding system with the benefits of an OEM fit.

Edit: I just realized that you are the OP. lol

If you want a better sounding system, add a good amp to your Alpine and a set of OEM tweeters (w/ factory A-pillar covers). Keep the stock speakers. The guys who posted in this thread weren't joking. Stock really is the better way to go. I run stock speakers in my own car, after testing a number of other options. Read the other threads on the forum and feel free to PM me if you'd like.
