My tail light problem

So I have had this problem for a few yrs now. My driver side tail light is out. It's just the running light, not the brake light or the turn signal. The tail light works when I swap it over to the passenger side so it's not the bulb or the tail light assembly.

I've checked the fuses and they are fine but just to be sure I removed the used ones and placed new ones in and still nothing. There are no bent pins in the connectors except some are loose. Shouldn't be a big deal cause I can swap it over to the passenger side and with the loose connectors it works fine.

Anyone else have an idea of what this could be?

Found the problem. It was a loose connector under the dash board. It was hard to tell but I traced the green w/yellow wire to that connector and while I was checking it it wiggled so I knew it was loose. I was like. Nah it can't be that easy. But it was.....this time.
