Newest version of torque pro has option to use maf to determine boost instead of the usdm map sensor that maxxesout at 3.1 psi. Seems more accurate. My screenshot from months ago was due to me messing around with the boost calculation which is why it was so wrong. Not sure what my pid speeds are but i use the cheap ebay elm 327 with reasonableresponse speeds. Make sure you are using the torque setting that speeds up obd.

One last thought, torque pro works way better than torque lite. Make sure you all use the paid version.

Do you use the 7" samsung tab? Did you have to trim the double din bezel for the tablet to fit?
Thanks,
Josh

OP's tablet is looks like a 1st edition Samsung tablet which I had when they came out first, and it originally and was released on 2.2 and worked just fine.

Ive actually played with a few unbranded chinese ones that were on 2.2-2.3 and they were quicker and smoother to the Samsung due to more ram. Also have the new Samsung 10.1 in work to play with, but tbh Im kinda MEH at the whole tablet thing, seeing as I have the same thing but faster inside my phone.

I'm inclined to agree. It lists the CPU as "Telechips TTC8803 1GHz", which I've never heard of. Google says that's a tablet powered by a Cortex A8 1.2GHz CPU...

I might grab one and try to flash it with ICS for personal testing purposes but I have extremely low performance expectations for this sort of 3rd-rate Chinese hardware. Throw in an NVIDIA Tegra 2 or Tegra 3 chip, include ICS, and up the RAM to 1GB and maybe I'd be enthusiastic.

As it is, I'm still leaning towards TrimSlice + TouchScreen + Amp + USB BluRay + Power Supply. Costs 3x as much, but higher quality hardware, better performance, and might take up less volume and weight.

Hmmmm, I might have to eat crow. I just read this guy's review: http://944-s2.blogspot.com/2012/01/e...-tips-and.html

And he might have just sold me on this thing. Sounds like the Windows software sucks but overall the hardware and the Android tablet more than compensate.

This tab was $20 as a certified pre owned with contract and does a heck of a lot of stuff. So here is my counter arguement to the naysayers:

1. Software can beupgraded with rom flashes. I run a gb rom, no need to go to honeycomb but i could if i wanted. Its funny to me that someone would call a recent version of android crap, esp when the device is easily upgradeable. From a car perspective, what does hc do that gb cant?

2. As a tablet this does lots of bang for the buck. I could care less about graphix processing in my car. Music, email, gauges, video, etc no problem. This is lightyears ahead of what ull find at car toys.

3. Ive built carpcs before, and even documented them here. You cant beat the price on my tablet, plus vzw's willingness to subsidize one every two years. No one else has an upgrade plan for their car stereo lol

Think the new 7.7 galaxy would still work with the jdmparts bezel?
