I'm gathering my info for doing this soon. I will probably use a Google Nexus 7. I have a rooted Tbolt with wifi hotspot I'll be using for connection. I mainly want to use a Nexus 7 b/c the softkeys are actually on the screen. So when you turn the tablet sideways to put it in the car they are at the bottom instead of the right side. Trivial, I know, but I'm ****.

OP, I'd like to know a couple of things please
1-Which tablet do you use specifically? I'm wondering about fitment since I'll be using a different tablet, but your fitment is exactly what I want.
2-How is the audio? Do you have any ground loop noise? I've read this complaint.
3-Why didn't you use a volume knob? I plan on using one for ease, but is the onscreen volume control easy to use? I can be talked into this option. I just figured it would be easier to have a knob.
4-Have you done anything for power control? I'd like to have it shut off when I turn the car off and turn on when the ignition is on. I thought there maybe a power control app that allows you to have the tablet set to On when charging, Off when not charging.
5-I'd like to use it as an mp3 player. I would be getting music from the internal memory. In order to put new music on it I'd have to be able to get to the tablet. I can't think of an easy way to do this. Maybe make the tablet just fit snuggly so it will not fall out, yet I can pull it out to pull the tablet and put new music on it. Or.....use a cloud drive? I really don't want to rely on an internet connection just in case my phone doesn't have one. I'm still researching this. Maybe some kind of air sync.

The fact that a lot of tabs now have wireless + data plans for a lot of phone companies are just add on device w/ shared data, i think the idea is much more reasonable. All you need is a power solution and music/stereo solution, so connectivity is really the only issue..
If someone sold a kit for all that it would be amazing

Newest version of torque pro has option to use maf to determine boost instead of the usdm map sensor that maxxesout at 3.1 psi. Seems more accurate. My screenshot from months ago was due to me messing around with the boost calculation which is why it was so wrong. Not sure what my pid speeds are but i use the cheap ebay elm 327 with reasonableresponse speeds. Make sure you are using the torque setting that speeds up obd.
One last thought, torque pro works way better than torque lite. Make sure you all use the paid version.

But, from what I hear, Torque will allow you to log MUT (over OBD) so you can input whatever you want to log from MUT (ie your particular map sensor) and put in the appropriate formula, etc.
As long as you know how to update your MUT table for which request you want to log (check ECUFlash forum), you should be set to go.

Torqued is an awesome app, I've used it a few times on my car and it works pretty well. I like what you've done OP, keep up the good work.
