AUX/iPOD hookup with the stock radio

Is there anyway to run an AUX port or iPOD cable through the stock head unit? The car is an 05 SSL. Thanks!

The SSL radio doesn't go into AUX mode like the standard radio does, so the FM transmitter is the only option. I've been looking into this for a while(as have others) and the result is always no.

I wish the factory ssl radio came with an auxiliary input. That's my only real gripe with it.

You could just get a cheap aftermarket radio. They all come with aux or usb plugs these days.

If I get an aftermarket one, I am going with a double din screen.

+1 for just getting a aftermarket stereo vs going through the work of trying to make the stock have aux
